Amber Pearl
Amber Pearl
A nice example of graduated vertical netting, worked in cream ceylon pearl seed beads with  metallic bead accents in autumn tones.  The fringe is accented with amber and brown glass beads.

This is one of the three pieces that went to the HIA 2000 trade show.

Cameo
This unusual vase is a matte cameo pink, embellished with cameo pink crystals and tranparent luster-finished seed beads.

a la Faberge'
a la Faberge'
After seeing a program on the fabulous Faberge' eggs, I had to try my own version.  The large gold-painted wooden egg is covered with a netting of gold metallic beads accented with garnet-red crystals.
Ankh Pendant
I made this piece for the Egyptian show.  It's made of tubular peyote stitch in bronze metallic shades.  The ends are finished with glass beads that look like chunks of tigereye.  The beads also embellish the 30" brass chain.  (To fill and shape the peyote tube I used fat black pipecleaners!)
